Note that the layout within Microsoft Internet Explorer is different to other web browsers. The headers have white backgrounds and some white text in the headers is lost. Haven’t got a clue what causes this but suggest using another browser such as Mozilla or Chrome in which the blog appears as I’ve intended it to.
About this blog
For those of you who don’t know me I’m Richard Baker, Professor of Clinical Gait Analysis at the University of Salford. I’ve started this blog to give me a less formal opportunity to comment on what’s going on in the world of lower limb biomechanics and gait analysis. It has recently been adopted as a formal output of the CMAster Consortium which is developing Education and Training resources for clinical gait analysis.
The site seems to be getting a growing number of visitors and views and I hope you too will find it interesting. Do sign up to “follow” (using the widget under the Tag cloud and Categories widgets on the right hand side of the page) and you’ll receive notifications when pages are updated. Please do leave comments as well – its great to hear what other people have got to say. There are a number of other ways to join up with our work at the University of Salford on the Join US page.
I try and confine work on this blog to my own time. The views expressed do not necessarily reflect those of my employers, the University of Salford. My comments are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License. Notice that this does not necessarily apply to some images I’ve incorporated or to some resources that are embedded in the blog. Please ask me if you’d like to use those.
Please note that I don’t obtain any income from this blog. Any adverts that you see have been placed there by WordPress.com which is the company that runs the blogging software. If these really irritate you you can set up a WordPress.com account and log in to it to read the blog. It is my understanding that if you do this you won’t see any adverts.
