Spot the difference

Given the role of women in the middle east in the first century it would almost certainly have been the husband who sat on the donkey regardless of how pregnant his wife was! Having said that there is no mention anywhere in the Biblical accounts of the Nativity of a donkey anyway. Maybe they both walked.
